Toronto Maple Leafs

Toronto Maple Leafs win against Carolina tonight at the Air Canada Centre. I was lucky enough to be there. The Leafs won 6 to 1. Go to this link for more action photos: http://picasaweb.google.com/ericbarphoto/TorontoMapleLeafs02.

Unfortunately, I could only use a point and shoot so the quality isn't the best..

Old House

This is the first day of spring so I scanned my photo library for something spring or summer looking and came upon this photo. This is an old house at the end of the East Coast Trails leading to Tors Cove.

Bald Eagle

Bald Eagle taken recently in Vancouver. Quality not the best because I had to crop to get close-ups from a 200mm zoom.

Rain Drops

This photo of tiny rain drops hanging from a small branch of a juniper tree was taken in my backyard this morning as rain showers fell. Notice the reflection of some of the rest of the tree in the tiny droplets.

Wood Pile

A recent photo taken in Blackhead near Cape Spear.

Racoons

This is a picture I took of three racoons while driving through Stanley Park in Vancouver. Stanley Park is a crown jewel of the city of Vancouver. The park recently lost 10,000 trees due to winter storms and it will take millions of dollars and years to clean up. The quality of the shot is not good as I took it at night using a point and shoot. However, I like the pose of the three racoons as they stand on one of the 10,000 fallen trees in the park.

I just returned from rainy Vancouver. This is one of only a few photos I took while visiting this beautiful city. This ferry is crossing to North Vancouver from downtown Vancouver.

Maple Tree in Winter

This is a maple tree in the front of my house. It looks so much different in the winter than in summer and fall when it looks just beautiful. However, when contrasted against a blue sky with clouds it doesn't look so bad in winter despite the missing leaves.
