Middle Cove this past Sunday afternoon.

Ice Candles & River

Ice candles hang from trees that have fallen across a small river running through Bowering Park.

These photos were taken of the river that runs from Quidi Vidi Lake and down through the village of Quidi Vidi. I had to climb down over a high river bank and I was in knee deep snow to get these shots. It was a bit rsky but my tripod gave me balance when I needed it :).
