Model Boats

These are model boats that are put out for sale in Little Harbour during the summer months. We stayed in a cottage in Little Harbour this past summer and the owner also made these model boats. Every morning he would display these boats and then in the evening he would bring them back and store in his shed overnight. He does a great job building these boats and sells them at a reasonable price. They are quite an attraction to the tourist.

Splitting Table

A splitting table photographed in an old stage in the community of Little Harbour, NL. The splitting table was used to split cod and remove the sound bone before salting the cod in tubs and then drying on flakes.
