Food Fishery

The cod food fishery opened again today. These photos were taken off Witless bay back when the fishery was open in late July. As you can tell from these two photos, there was a big ocean swell on when I took these shots. From my vantage point in a zodiac they looked like they were being swallowed by the sea t times.

Drying Cod Fish

Last weekend we drove to Random Island and visited a few of the fishing communities. This is a scene from Petley of cod fish drying in the sun.
