William F. Coaker's house in Port Union and a statue of him overlooking the family burial plot. Coaker was the founder of the Fishermen's Protective Union.

Printing Presses

I spent a weekend in Port Union back in September and learned a lot about the history of the town. One of the most interesting parts of the trip was a tour of the restored Factory building, with its period woodworking machinery and the array of presses and equipment used by the union paper, The Fishermen's Advocate.
