Our Lady of Mercy Historic Church, Port Au Port, NL

These photos were taken inside of Our Lady of Mercy Historic Church in Port Au Port. It is the largest wooden church structure in Newfoundland. Construction began in 1914 and the church was consecrated in 1925.

Volunteer labour and supplies contributed to this effort. There is much more history to this beautiful church and if you go to the west coast, make sure you pay a visit to the church.
