Statue in Old Montreal
This was taken in the centre of Place d'Armes in Old Montreal. This is a monument to Montreal's founder, Paul Chomedey de Maisonneuve. The work is of of sculptor Louis-Philippe Hebert.
The statue is in silhouette and off to the side and in the background is Notre Dame Basilica. The clouds looked menacing at the time and I added a blue tone to enhance the look. I especially like the clouds because it also adds depth to the photo.
