I attended a portrait workshop topday and this is one of the hundreds of portraits that I took. There was a group of ten photographers and we had four models to work with. I must admit it was a great way to pass away a Sunday afternoon.

I had the opportunity recently to tour Sexton's sawmill in Bloomfield. I understand it is the largest in the province. These are some of the photos I took while on tour.

A couple of more photos from Trinity. After taking the first photo I moved in really close on the fence using an ultra wide angle lens and the shape of the fence came out framed like the front of a boat!

Trinity Historical Properties

Taken in Trinity about a week ago. The lines of the frozen snow along the shoreline caught my eye so I framed it so that the leading lines in the snow pull the eye to the buildings in the background. It was freezing cold when I took this photo.

Red Shed

This photo was taken in Petley on Random Island this past Sunday. I used an ultra wide angle nikon f2.8, 14mm to 24 mm lens. You will notice with a wide angle shot up close there is some distortion but the broad coverage you get even when close to the subject is amazing. The sun was setting when I took this photo and the lighting was very nice.
